i'm stuck in jury duty for the next week. greatttttttttt. and while i sit in the panel listening to formalities i start thinking about my upcoming job and art center interview, and a very disturbing thought, did i lose the ability to draw things like i used to? i really hope not. but it's not looking too good right now... for some reason the lines just don't flow like they used to. maybe i'm still being impatient with myself. but it's frustrating like nothing else.. kind of like the feeling if you were a sprint runner all your life and one day you realized you could only jog, but you don't really know why..

maybe (hopefully not) it's a byproduct of me changing into more of a design/hybrid thinker than just an illustrator like i used to be. hopefully not though. lasjdhflksjdhf

i'll be bringing out the reference pictures again that have been stored away for years.. and sadly my prized animals drawing book is missing!! i've had that since i was a little kid and it helped so much :( i hope it's just in public storage or something.

but currently i'm working on sound.. more specifically, a new, less XTREME and embarrassing vocal trance type of music with yours truly doing the vocals. i haven't gotten much down yet except the basics but it's still something. after the sound will come an accompanying piece made in after effects/processing (if i can eventually learn those programs), so look out for that in maybe......... a month or so. (i'll probably update sooner than that though hah)
