apps the second time around

coming up with things to include/make for the portfolio is not hard at all. in fact, it's too easy and i have to pick and choose which to leave in. filling out application and writing essays and etc. is pretty easy too. all the nights of starting essays at 4am, 5 hrs before it's due have paid off i guess hah. but the hard part is actually making the pieces.

granted, the first one i'm working on required a lot of research.. basically understanding how a car works, what parts you can replace with other parts, etc. and understanding the full anatomy of a horse. guess what i'm making? but anyways, that required holing up in the library for a few days and combing some technician's books which took a while. hopefully the other pieces go faster than this first one since they don't require any research. hopefully.

being at a UC made me so lazy... it's unbelievable how hard it is to overcome this. if you compare the me in high school to the me now, what happened? UC happened, where they give you 9 weeks of freedom and 1 week of dying. slowly but surely i'm getting over it, but hopefully by the deadline date... which is in less than half a month now !!
